Sasthamcottah: St. Basil Bible School conducted an Eco- retreat at Bible School in Sasthamcottah 17-18, April 2015. Fr.Dr.K.M.George was the main speaker for the retreat.
The retreat commenced on Friday with Morning Prayer at Bible School. Introduction to the theme and main speaker for the retreat was followed by the Class on Naturopathy, led by Mr.Babu John. An Eco-Walk was also conducted by Fr.Samuel George for the participants. On Sunday, April 18th, the Holy Qurbana was celebrated at Mar Elijah Chapel. Fr. Samuel George was the retreat convener.
St. Basil Bible School aims at the enlightment of the faithful of the Holy orthodox Church. The Bible School provides spiritual training to the lay people of the Church. It teaches the scripture and faith of the church as handed over to us by the Holy Fathers and Mothers of the Church. The Bible School helps in experimenting the liturgical mysteries of the church.
