Leaders’ Meet and Executive Meeting of the Orthodox Syrian Sunday School Association of the East (OSSAE) Outside Kerala Region (OKR), were held in the capital city of India on the 6th and 7th of February 2018, hosted by the Diocese of Delhi.
President of OSSAE OKR H.G. Dr. Abraham Mar Seraphim Metropolitan was present along with H. G. Geevarghese Mar Coorilos Metropolitan, H.G. Dr. Yuhanon Mar Diascoros Metropolitan, H.G. Dr. Yuhanon Mar Demetrios Metropolitan, H.G. Yakob Mar Elias Metropolitan and H.G. Dr. Geevarghese Mar Yulios Metropolitan. The director general of OSSAE Rev Fr. Dr Reji Mathew, Director of OSSAE OKR Rev Fr. Dr Bijesh Philip, Treasure of OKR Rev Fr. John Mathew, Directors and Secretaries/Vice president of the Dioceses of Ahmedabad, Bangalore , Bombay, Brahmawar, Culcutta, Delhi, and Madras, Zonal representatives from UAE and Kuwait participated in the meeting. There was a fruitful discussion on the day to day issues and challenges of different areas. A team was formed to revisit the text books and find new ways to reach out to children in a befitting manner.
