HG Dr Geevarghese Mar Yulios, Metropolitan, Indian (Malankara) Orthodox Diocese of Ahmedabad, and Justin Welby, The Archbishop of Canterbury, and a senior most bishop in the Church of England, will participate in an interfaith round table at the Henry Martyn Institute (HMI) at Shivarampally, Hyderabad, on September 5, Thursday.
HG Dr Mar Yulios in his capacity as Vice Chairperson (Orthodox Church) of the HMI will receive the Archbishop and his delegation during the visit.
The interfaith round table at HMI is for invited guests and is scheduled to take place from 6 pm to 8 pm.
HMI is an ecumenical non-profit organisation that seeks to promote reconciliation between people of different faiths and cultures.
It is a centre for research and praxis related to interfaith and inter-community relations.
HMI is affiliated to Senate of Serampore (University) and related agency of National Council of Churches in India (NCCI).
