Fr. Joshi Varghese has been awarded Ph.D from MATS University, Raipur in the Faculty of Education. The doctorate has been granted for his thesis titled “A Comparative Study of the Effectiveness of Smart Class and Traditional Class in Terms of Academic Achievement, Learning styles and Scientific Attitudes of Students”. He completed his Ph.D under the supervision of Dr. Sonia Popli of Department of Education, St. Thomas College, Bhilai.

Fr. Dr. Joshi Varghese (Rince Achen) is serving as the Principal Secretary to H.G. Dr. Joseph Mar Dionysius Metropolitan, Diocesan Education officer of MGM Group of Educational Institutions (under Calcutta Diocese & St. Thomas Mission , Bhilai) and PRO of Calcutta Diocese.
