Adv. Mathai Mampallil has been declared successful for award of Doctorate in Ministry by the Senate of Serampore (University)

 

Adv. Mathai Mampallil, Orthodox Sabha Managing Committee Member from Ahmedabad has been declared successful for award of Doctorate in Ministry by the Senate of Serampore (University). His subject for Research was “Pastoral Care and Community Support for the People Living with HIV and AIDS and their rehabilitation”. His Grace Dr. Geevarghese Mar Yulios Metropolitan was his Guide. The Convocation Ceremony of the University is scheduled to be held on 6th February 2016 at Henry Martin Institute, Hyderabad, for the formal award of the Degree. 
Adv. Mathai Mampallil is M. Com, and LL. M. from Gujarat University and holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Management. He had completed his graduation in Divinity from Serampore University in 2000. He is a member of St. Mary’s Orthodox Cathedral, Ahmedabad and also a Member of the Diocesan 
Council of the Ahmedabad Diocese, He is also serving  on the Governing Body of the St.Thomas Orthodox Theological Seminary, Nagpur. His mother Parish is St. Thomas Orthodox Valiapally, Omalloor.
Adv. Mampallil is a practicing Advocate with the High Court of Gujarat at Ahmedabad, and has authored the widely accepted  book “Church and Legal Literacy”, a handbook for Orthodox Priests and Church Leaders. 
His wife Annie Mathai is a Teacher, daughter Esther a Psychologist, and son Thomas Mathai is an Architect. 
He is closely associated with the Konkani (Brahmawar) community of the Orthodox Church and has done extensive research on the life of Saint Alvares Mar Yulios
