Greetings on the 65th Birthday of Very Rev. Fr. Philip Thomas Cor-Episcopa, Vicar and President, Cathedral of St. Mary The Theotokos, Kuala Lampur, Malayasia.

An Orthodox Priest who is an embodiment of Orthodox spirituality and a reflection of true uncorrupted Godly indwelling.
Born on 4th July,1955 Fr. Philip is the first Malayasian citizen to respond to God’s call and enter into the order of glorious holy Priesthood of Malankara Orthodox Syrian Church.
He joined Orthodox Theological Seminary in Kottayam in 1977 and completed his B.D in 1982. He had served as Secretary to HG Dr.Paulose Mar Gregorios of blessed memory during his sojourn in the Seminary.
On 6th May 1984 he was ordained Priest in St.Mary’s Church in Malayasia by HG Dr.Thomas Mar Thimothios (later HH Baselios Mar Thoma Didimos 1).Respected Fr.Philip was later raised to the higher level of *Cor Episcopa* by the Church on 1st December 1996 by HG Zacharia Mar Dionysius of Chennai Diocese.
A truly dedicated Priest who inhales and exhales Orthodoxy and its truly rich spiritual values, is a spiritual Leader par excellence,a beautiful and convincing Orator and a good Administrator.
He has been successful in nurturing 3 generations of Malankara Orthodox Syrian Christian faithful outside India.He holds very prestigious positions among the Christian community in Kuala Lampur and is highly edteemed and respected.He is the pride and exemplary image of Malankara Orthodox Syrian Church in Malayssia.
He was the Keynote Speaker at the International Sufi conference held in Lahore,Pakistan.
He has often been invited to USA,Australia,New Zealand,Gulf and India for classes and Lectures.
He emphasizes on the crucial importance of being holistic christians complimenting our faith with Godly life, action and good works to make that exemplary difference which Christ wants each one of us to be.He shows this tellingly in his life.He truly walks his faith.
Very Rev.Fr.Philip Thomas is beacon for Orthodox Church in Malaysia and whole of South East Asia.
He should ideally be elevated as a Bishop of our Church,which he truly qualifies and deserves, to represent our Church most fittingly and effectively in South East Asia and the Australian continent.
May God Bless him with longer life and good health so that his blessed ministry bring forth much more fruitful produce that is pleasing to the Lord!
