Mar Gregorios Orthodox Maha Edavaka OCYM holds Malayalam language  learning classes in June, July

MUSCAT:  Learning a native language refers to a form of schooling that makes use of the language that young children are most familiar with.
For children of diaspora, learning their native language comes as a hard choice.
What better way for children who haven’t traveled to their home country for summer vacation, than spending time to learn their native language right here in Muscat.
The Mar Gregorios Orthodox Maha Edavaka (MGOME)’s Orthodox Christian Youth Forum, has made this possible once again by
organising Malayalam language classes for the children.

Titled ‘Madhuramenna Malayalam’, the classes have been planned to be held on June 21, 28 and July 5, 12, 2019 (on Fridays) at the Muscat Maha Edavaka, Ruwi.
Leading Malayalam language experts based in Muscat and from India will help conduct the classes.
The timings on all the four days are from 9:30 am to 10:30 am.
The one-hour classes each day features learning alphabets, poetry, traditional songs and literary studies.
Those interested to take part may contact MGOCYM Convenors:  Biju John GSM 9821 9404, Twinkle Varghese  GSM 9395 7897, Anish John GSM 9397 7668 or Jith Mathew Vattiyani GSM 9708 2914.
MGOME Vicar/President Fr Mathai Palath and Associate Vicar Fr Bejoy Varghese along with the executive members have urged all the children to make maximum use of the language classes.
