BENGALURU: Fr Varghese Philip Idichandy, Vicar/President, St Gregorios Orthodox Church, Mathikere, handed over a cheque from the ‘Thanal’ Charity Fund 2017-18 of the Mar Gregorios Orthodox Maha Edavaka, Muscat.
On Sunday, May 20, the Vicar handed over the cheque at St Gregorios Orthodox Church, to Mrs Shanti, mother of A G Arjun, a cancer patient aged 21 years.
Proof of letter from Fr Idichandy and other supporting documents, helped finalise the contribution along with approval from Maha Edavaka Vicar/President Fr Jacob Mathew and the Thanal committee.
Arjun has been diagonised with cancer and termed classical Hodgkin Lymphoma (Nodular Sclerosis) biopsy lymph node.
