Condolence Meeting

The contribution of late Very Rev. M.S.Skariah Rambachan to the Delhi Diocese and the Christian community in Delhi is massive and his demise has left the members of the diocese in pain, and has also without doubt created a void which will not be easy to fill.

A prayer meeting was organised yesterday at 6.30 pm onwards at St. Mary’s Cathedral, Hauz Khas and was attended by large number of people.

The meeting started with prayer and bible reading. Thereafter, Rev. Fr. Shaji George, the Vicar of St. Mary’s Cathedral delivered the introductory condolence message and also welcomed the clergy and dignatories. The Rt. Rev. Bishop Colin Theodore of the CNI church was the first to express condolence. The others who expressed condolence were Rev. Manoj Mathews(Marthoma Church), Rev. Fr. Shaji Thomas ( Malankara Catholic Church), Rev. Victor Das ( Anglican Church), Adv.Abraham Pattiyani ( Kerala Christian Association),Mr.M.G.George Muthoot(Sabha Managing Committee member), Mr. A.V Paulose (Senior member of Delhi Diocese), Mr.Daniel Mathew ( Cemetery Cell), Mr. Subin Mathew ( MGOCSM), Mr. Robin Raju ( OCYM ) and Mr. Sanjay R. Varghese ( IODS).

In the end Diocese Secretary, Fr. Saji Yohannan delivered the vote of thanks. The meeting concluded with prayer and benediction.
