BENGALURU: The popular Bangalore Orthodox Gospel Team under Bengaluru Diocese Metropolitan HG Dr Abraham Mar Seraphim will release a musical CD titled ‘Anaswara Sneham’ on May 28, Sunday.

The programme will be held as part of the consecration and dedication of the reconstructed St Gregorios Orthdoox Church, Mathikere, Bengaluru, being held on May 26, 27 and 28, 2017. The consecration services will be led by His Graces Dr Yakoob Mar Irenaios (Metropolitan, Kochi Diocese), Dr Youhanon Mar Demetrios (Metropolitan, Delhi Diocese) and Dr Abraham Mar Seraphim (Metropolitan, Bengaluru Diocese).
Metropolitan Mar Seraphim will hand over the maiden copy of ‘Anaswara Sneham’ to Gospel Team Vice President Very Rev T K Thomas Cor Episcopa. Fr Varghese P Idichandy, Vicar, St Gregorios Orthodox Church, Mathikere, is the leading force behind the concept of Gospel Team.
The musical CD will have totally 6 songs with an introduction by Mar Seraphim and music and orchestration from Anish Cherian. Fr Bijoy Zachariah has provided an introduction about chanting, while Fr Idichandy talks about the Living Word of God. Intercessory prayers are by Fr Moncy P Chacko, Rev T K Thomas Corespscopa and Fr K M Jacob.
Besides, Metropolitan Mar Serphim as President of the Bangalore Orthodox Gospel Team, the clergy team includes Very Rev T K Thomas Corepiscopa as Vice President, Fr Varghese P Idichandy as Team Coordinator and Fr Santhosh Samuel as Treasurer. Others include Fr K M Jacob, Fr Moncy P Chacko, Fr Bijoy Zachariah, Fr Joe Mathew, Fr Bino Samuel and Anish Cherian.

The CD design is by Siju from National Printing Press, Koramangala, with its recording, mixing and mastering performed at Parekh Digital, Bangalore, NHQ, Freddy’s AVG, DSMC and Paatupetti. ~M  LC
