MUSCAT: HG Dr Zacharias Mar Aprem, Metropolitan, Adoor-Kadambanad Diocese, has launched the MGOCYM activities for 2017-2018 on April 7, 2017, Friday, by formally lighting the traditional lamp.
Metropolitan Mar Aprem in his role as the new MGOCSM President of Indian (Malankara) Orthodox Church, also launched distribution of the new membership forms for 2017-2018 at the Maha Edavaka. The ceremony was also attended by Fr Jacob Mathew, Maha Edavaka Vicar/President, Fr Kuriakose Varghese, Associate Vicar along with MGOCYM Secretary Aju Thomas, Joint Secretary Nibu Varghese, and Treasurer Tijo Thomas and other office bearers.
MGOME Trustee Mathew Varghese, Co-Trustee Sabu Koshy, Secretary Manoj Mathew along with others also participated. Mar Aprem is the chief celebrant for Passion Week services for 2017 at Muscat Mar Gregorios Orthodox Mahaedavaka.
