DR. PAULOS MAR GREGORIOS Inter School TALENT MEET – 2016- Report

St. Gregorios School, Dwarka hosted Dr. Paulos Mar Gregorios Inter School Talent Meet-2016 in memory of our founder, Dr. Paulos Mar Gregorios who was the first Metropolitan of the Diocese of Delhi.  His life and work stands testimony to his valuable contribution.  He was an enthusiastic leader, scholar, philosopher, author, educationalist, editor, linguist and a public speaker.  Hence, organizing ISTM is a befitting tribute to His Grace.

The programme commenced with lighting of the lamp by His Grace Dr. Youhanon Mar Demetrios, Metropolitan of Delhi Orthodox Church, Chairman Rev. Fr. Biju P. Thomas and all other dignitaries.  The meet was declared open by His Grace after an inspiring speech motivating the participants.  It was followed by plethora activities in which students got an opportunity to showcase their talent.  The budding debaters left no stone unturned to prove their excellence in the debate competition on the topic “Lack of proper upbringing in the cause of dwindling values in children”.  It was followed by ‘Natya Manchan’ competition in Hindi and Maths ‘Cross Word Puzzles’.

Our Principal, Mr. M. Boyaz was also presented with a shawl for achieving the Best Principal Award 2015 by CBSE for his excellence in the work of education.
