MAR GREGORIOS FOOD ATM-SHARE AND CARE – A new inovative initiative to feed the hungry and homeless was undertaken by MarGregorios Janakpuri-New Delhi
A food ATM with the title-“MAR GREGORIOS FOOD ATM-SHARE AND CARE” has been inaugurated with blessing and prayers by the Parish VicarFrbiju Thomas on 24th April 2016
Proverbs 22:9 Whoever has a bountiful eye will be blessed, for he shares his bread with the poor. Food being the basic necessity of life has always been an issue in this era of globalisation. By introducing the food Atm at least one needy a day can be served is the basic concept behind this.
The fridge is kept in a public place under the church premises, so that the poor and the needy can be served anytime. Contribution can be done by providing food on daily or weekly or monthly basis or at least on birthday or anniversaries.
ഡൽഹി : വിശക്കുന്നവർക്ക് ഒരു നേരത്തെ ആഹാരം നല്കുക എന്ന ഉദേശലക്ഷ്യത്തോടെ ജനകപുരി മാർ ഗ്രീഗോറിയോസ് ഓർത്തഡോക് സ് പള്ളി ആരംഭിച്ച ‘ഷയർ & കെയർ ഫുഡ് എ.ടി.എം’ പദ്ധതിക്ക് തുടക്കമായി.ഏപ്രിൽ-24 ന് നടന്ന ചടങ്ങിൽ ഇടവക വികാരി ഫാ.ബിജു തോമസ്‌ കൂദാശയും ഉദ്ഘാടനവും നിർവഹിച്ചു.പള്ളി അങ്കണത്തിൽ സ്ഥാപിച്ചിരിക്കുന്ന മെഷീനിൽ ഭക്ഷ്യ പദാർഥങ്ങൾ ആവിശ്യാനുസരണം ലഭ്യമാകും.ഇടവകയുടെ സഹകരണത്തോടു കൂടിയാണ് പദ്ധതി മുന്നോട്ടു കൊണ്ടുപോവാൻ തീരുമാനിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നത്
