Vipassana-visit to Balagram, Manganam
Vipassana volunteers organised a visit to Balagram(Children’s Villege), Managana, Kottayam and spent some quality time with children.Students of Maharajas College, Kottayam also participated in the programme.Dr.Siby Tharakan (Director, Vipassana) introduced the activities of Vipassana to the group.Mr.John Kunnathu, Mr.K.S.Mathew (Acharaya), and Ms.Mariamma Tharakan spoke on the occasion.The group enjoyed the cultural programmes organised by inmates and students of Maharajas College.
Vipassana volunteers would be visiting the Balagram and offering emotional support on a monthly basis.Mrs.Lovely Rajan was the coordinator of the visit.Mr.Choko Tharakan, Mrs.Lizy John and Ms.Reshma Elsa Reji also participated in the visit.
