Egypt’s Coptic Pope Tawadros II arrived in the United States on Wednesday as part of a three week visit. His Holiness Tawadros II, 118th Pope of Alexandria and Patriarch of the See of Saint Mark is visiting Houston on Monday, October 12th, and a meeting has been arranged for His Holiness from 10am-1pm at St. Mark’s Coptic Church. Representing the Malankara Orthodox Church, His Grace Alexios Mar Eusebius, Metropolitan of the Diocese of South-West America will be attending the meeting in order to express our solidarity with the Coptic Church and to show our respect to the Coptic Pope. Houston area Clergies and lay leaders will accompany the Metropolitan during the visit.
