Diocese of Bombay gave a warm welcome to her Metropolitan H.G.Geevarghese Mar Coorilos today (19th September, Saturday) morning. His Grace reached Vashi Aramana gate at sharp 11.30. a.m.Hundreds faithful of the Diocese gathered Aramana gate around 9 a.m and patiently wait for their Shepherded with lightened candles. After the reception, His Grace conducted the Doopa Prarthana. Then Rev.Fr.Koshy Alex, the Diocesan Secretary read the Kalpana of His Holiness Baselius Marthoma Paulos II, the Catholoicos of the East and the Malankara Metropolitan.
Then conducted a thanksgiving prayer and followed by a Public meeting. Rev Fr Koshy Alex, the Diocesan Secretary, Rev Fr.Saji Thannimmottil, the Vaideeka Sangam Seretary, Rev. Fr. Jacob Thomas, Mr Konchukunj, spoke on the occasion. His Grace gave a reply speech and asked for the prayerful support of all priests and laity of the diocese. As per the request of His Grace there were no reception at the airport and no bouquet, garlands or shawl. After the public meeting Vaideeka Sangam meeting conveyed.
