Onam,the national festival of Kerala was organized by St. Mary’s orthodox youth movement and was celebrated at St. Mary’s school, Sector 46-B Chandigarh.
The well known south Indian film actor Shri. Zinaaj Kalabhavan was the chief guest of the event. Rev Fr.John K Jacob presided over the function.
About 200 people attended the celebration. Various cultural programmes and sports activities were held. The celebration winded up with the popular onam sadhya (onam feast) which included 18 varieties of dishes.
