MUSCAT: The Philexinos Gospel Team from Chengannur Diocese will lead the Family Conference of the Mar Gregorios Orthodox Maha Edavaka, Muscat, on September 11, 2015, Friday. The four-member clergy Gospel Team consists of Fr Thomas P Ninan, Fr Shibu Varghese, Fr Mathai Kunnil and Fr Mathai Zachariah.

The theme of the conference will be based on “A successful family foretastes heaven” from Psalm 128: 1, 2 with a separate theme for debate. The convention and family conference is being hosted by the Mar Gregorios Orthodox Christian Youth Movement (MGOCYM).

Registrations are open for the conference against a fee. Maha Edavaka Vicar/President Fr Jacob Mathew and Associate Vicar Fr Kuriakose Varghese have urged the faithful to attend the conference and make it an enriching one.

Earlier, the Gospel Team successfully led the week-long convention at St Thomas Church from August 31 and the feast of the Nativity of St Mary, on September 7, Tuesday.
