The Holy Episcopal Synod of the Malankara Orthodox Syrian Church appointed Rev. Fr. Dr. Jogy C. George, as a fulltime residential faculty of St. Thomas Orthodox Theological Seminary Nagpur. He completed his Bachelor of Divinity in 2001 from the Orthodox Theological Seminary Kottayam and did his Doctoral studies from the Pontifical Gregorian University of Rome in the topic ‘The Metaphor of the shepherd in the Gospel of St. Mark’. He belongs to the Kottayam Central diocese and a member of Mar Elia Cathedral Kottayam.
