The Northeast American Diocese of the Malankara Orthodox Syrian Church has initiated a new educational ministry called “The Ladder.” The mission of this new ministry is to educate the members of the Church about her faith, teachings, and traditions of the church using modern mediums.
The name of this ministry is taken from Genesis 28: 10-19, where Jacob dreams of a ladder set on earth that reaches heaven. He sees the angels of God ascending and descending upon the ladder, and the Lord standing above it. Our journey to Christ is like a ladder. We should strive to climb this ladder towards the Kingdom.
The content released will cover a variety of topics, including Scripture, Liturgy, Sacraments, Christian Life, Modern Issues, and more! These topics will be covered throughvideos, podcasts, coursework, and other platforms.
