AHMEDABAD: The Marth Mariam Vanitha Samajam (MMVS) unit of Ahmedabad Diocese will organize its seventh annual conference from August 19 to 21 at St Thomas Orthodox Theological Seminary (STOTS), Nagpur.  Arrangements are in full swing for the scheduled conference.

HG Pulikkottil Dr Geevarghese Mar Yulios, Diocesan Metropolitan, will lead the three-day conference with other eminent resource persons from the seminary, also scheduled to participate. 

The main theme of the conference is based on ‘Orthodox Spiritual Heritage – Pazhamayude Puthuma’. The conference has been scheduled for the first time outside Kerala, in Kalmeshwar, Nagpur.

Another highlight of the conference will be the elocution competition on ‘Sabha Jyothis – LL Pulikottil Joseph Mar Dionysius I’ whose bicentenary death celebrations will be held under the aegis of the Ahmedabad Diocesan Metropolitan. 

Women delegates from states of Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan and Gujarat are also expected to attend the three-day conference.
