Muscat Mar Gregorios Maha Edavaka to host food fiesta on Jan 23
MUSCAT — Mar Gregorios Orthodox Maha Edavaka (MGOME), Muscat is planning to host a Food Fiesta 2015 on January 23, Friday at its Ruwi Church Compound from 5 pm.
The inaugural sale of coupon was handed by Fr Rinju P Koshy, General Secretary, Akila Malankara Balasamajam to Philip K Philip, senior member and CEO, Muscat Insurance Company in the presence of Fr Joji George Koickalethu and Binu Kunchatthil.
On the entertainment side the food fiesta will have a special guest appearance from Sajan Palluruthy, a popular cine TV artist from Kerala, and Varsha, a stage performer and upcoming singer. There will also be live music, dance shows, skits, interesting dramas, fun-filled eating contests and games.
The fiesta will have stalls on exotic Kerala foods, delicious North Indian dishes, spicy Chinese dishes, sandwiches and salads.
A Nadan Thattukada and a Payasam Hut will also be another highlight.
Sale of coupons for the food fiesta has already begun. Fr Joji George has requested the cooperation of all to make the Fiesta a grand success.
