MUSCAT: Mar Gregorios Orthodox Maha Edavaka (MGOME) Muscat under Vicar/President Fr Joji George Koickalethu and Associate Vicar Fr Kuriakose Varghese have elected a new team of 3-member executive and a 18-member managing committee members for 2015-16 at its meeting held recently.
MGOME comes under Ahmedabad Diocese led by its Metropolitan HG Dr Pullikkottil Dr Geevarghese Mar Yulios.
The main higlight being John P Luke getting himself elected as Secretary for the second consecutive year, while the Vadakedom brothers in John Thomas and Abraham from Al Khuwair/Bousher and Nizwa in the Al Dakhiliyah Governorate find place in the new restructured area-wise committee. Mercy Varghese from Al Ghubrah in Muscat Governorate will be the women representative.
