Mar Yulios extends greetings to Vijay Rupani, new Gujarat CM

 
AHMEDABAD: His Grace Dr Pulikkottil Geevarghese Mar Yulios, Metropolitan, Orthodox Diocese of Ahmedabad, has extended his felicitations and best wishes to Shri Vijay Rupani, the new Chief Minister of Gujarat. Rupani took oath as the 16th chief minister and assumed office on December 26, 2017 for second time in a row.
Besides congratulating the chief minister and his team of ministers on taking charge, Metropolitan Mar Yulios has also wished success and speedy growth towards developing the state further.
As Metropolitan of Diocese of the National Church in India, Mar Yulios states in his letter explained to the chief minister about the geographical outlay of the Diocese with its jurisdiction spread over entire Gujarat, parts of Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh and the Sultanate of Oman in the Arabian Gulf. His Grace further mentions undertaking many social, cultural, educational and charitable activities and successfully running a number of educational institutions of higher excellence in Gujarat. 
Mar Yulios acknowledges the good encouragement and help from the government of Gujarat over the years, and pledges to continue to do the best, and assist the state government with regard to matters of social concern. The Metropolitan has also assured full support of the Indian Orthodox community in all endeavors.
Mar Yulios has sought an appointment with Shri Vijay Rupani, to offer his personal greetings, blessings and prayers and prays to Almighty to provide him with strength, courage, good health and long life to take Gujarat state to greater heights.
