MUSCAT: Ahmedabad Diocese Metropolitan HG Pulikkottil Dr Geevarghese Mar Yulios turns 50, May 17, Wednesday.
Let us pray for celestial blessings be showered upon our beloved Metropolitan and all endeavors taken up by him.
As His Grace enters a new phase, Dr Mar Yulios needs support, cooperation, and more importantly the prayers of all to steer the Church and the Diocese(s) in the right direction.
Pray that His Grace accomplishes his mission and realises his dream and that the ministry is strengthened abundantly and the Holy Shepherd works to further the Kingdom of God.
Over the past year, Mar Yulios has been bestowed with additional responsibilities by the MOSC. As Assistant Metropolitan of his home town Kunnamkulam Diocese, Mar Yulios also dabbles as the new President of National Relief Service of Orthodox Church (NARSOC), and President of editorial board at Malankara Sabha magazine.
On March 17, 2017, in another milestone, Mar Yulios reached the Silver Jubilee of priesthood anniversary. On his birthday, the Metropolitan will lead the Holy Eucharist at the St Peter and St Paul’s Church, Parumala.
As a travel-weary Bishop, we pray that God Almighty grant His Grace long life of happiness, peace and good health coupled with heavenly blessings. May God strengthen our ‘smiling bishop’ to lead and guide the Holy Church towards more responsible positions.
Over the past 7 years, Mar Yulios is leading Ahmedabad Diocese with renewed vigour, out-most ideal, foresighted vision and determined to accomplish his ‘projected’ mission along with spiritual empowerment.
May the Almighty shower our Metropolitan with abundant blessings, divine guidance to safeguard and monitor the sheep in the right path and guided by the Holy Spirit.
Fr Jacob Mathew, Vicar/President, Muscat Mar Gregroios Orthodox Maha Edavaka (MGOME), Fr Kuriakose Varghese, Assistant Vicar and members of MGOME executive, committee members also extend birthday greetings to the Metropolitan.
