മംഗലാപുരം: ബ്രഹ്മവാർ ഭദ്രാസനത്തിന്റെ ആസ്ഥാനമായ മൗണ്ട് ഹോറേബ് അരമനയുടെ ശിലാസ്ഥാപന കർമ്മം പരിശുദ്ധ കാതോലിക്കാ ബാവ നിർവ്വഹിച്ചു.
ഏറെ കഷ്ടതകൾക്കിടയിലും ഭംഗിയായി ശോഭിക്കുന്ന ഭദ്രാസനമാണ് ബ്രഹ്മവാർ ഭദ്രാസനമെന്ന് പരിശുദ്ധ കാതോലിക്കാ ബാവ പറഞ്ഞു. കൊല്ലം ഭദ്രാസനാധിപൻ അഭി. സഖറിയാസ് മാർ അന്തോണിയോസ് മെത്രാപ്പോലീത്ത, ബ്രഹ്മവാർ ഭദ്രാസനാധിപൻ അഭി. യാക്കോബ് മാർ എലിയാസ് മെത്രാപ്പോലീത്ത എന്നിവർ സഹകാർമ്മികർ ആയിരുന്നു. തുടർന്ന് നടന്ന പൊതുസമ്മേളനം പരിശുദ്ധ കാതോലിക്കാ ബാവാ ഉദ്‌ഘാടനം ചെയ്തു.
മെത്രാപ്പോലീത്താമാർ, മംഗലാപുരം എം.എൽ.എ. ജെ.ആർ. ലോബോ, വൈദീക ട്രസ്റ്റീ റവ.ഫാ. എം.ഓ. ജോൺ, അസോസിയേഷൻ സെക്രട്ടറി ബിജു ഉമ്മൻ, മുൻ വൈദീക ട്രസ്റ്റി റവ.ഫാ. ജോൺസ് എബ്രഹാം കോനാട്ട്, ഭദ്രാസന സെക്രട്ടറി റവ.ഫാ. എൽദോ എം. പോൾ, റവ.ഫാ. കുറിയാക്കോസ് തോമസ്, റവ.ഫാ.പി.സി.അലക്സ്, അബുദാബി സെന്റ്. ജോർജ് ഓർത്തഡോൿസ് കത്തീഡ്രൽ ഇടവകയുടെ പ്രതിനിധികൾ തുടങ്ങിയവർ പ്രസംഗിച്ചു.
The Foundation for Brahmavar Diocesan Centre at Kankanady, Mangalore, was laid on 5th, October 2015, by the Supreme Head of the Malankara Orthodox Church, Catholicos H.H. Baselios Marthoma Paulose II, in the presence of Zachariah Mar Anthonios, Metropolitan – Kollam Diocese, the Diocesan Metropolitan, Yakob Mar Elias, J. R. Lobo, MLA- Mangalore South and other dignitaries.
The Centre will be built in the international standards, with a Church at the top, and Bishop’s office, dormitories, guest rooms, and other offices in the lower floors
His Holiness led the prayers and consecrated the foundation stone.
The event concluded with a formal stage function.
His Holiness, expressed though Brahmavar Diocese is one of the most poor and demographically less no. of people, yet it is vibrant with mixture of various cultures and languages within the diocese. His Holiness, expressed that there is no doubt, that the project will be completed at the earliest.
J.R. Lobo, MLA for Mangaluru City South, expressed there is a greater need for unity among all denominations, in the wake of growing threats and persecutions
Mar Anthonios, and many other dignitaries which included members of MOSC council also gave their felicitations.
Fr. Kuriakose Thomas (Sunil Achen), Diocesan Secretary welcomed the gathering and Fr. V.C. Jose gave the vote of Thanks.
