Food and the Holy Apostles

“One man’s faith allows him to eat everything, but another man, whose faith is weak, eats only vegetables. The man who eats everything must not look down on him who does not, and the man who does not eat everything must not condemn the man who does, for God has accepted him.” -Romans 14:2-3

Our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, being resurrected and before Ascension, appeared to his disciples and according to the Holy Gospel from Luke(in 24:41), Jesus asked them “Do you have anything here to eat?” and it is written “They gave him a piece of broiled fish, and he took it and ate it in their presence.”- Luke 24:42-43

Then how come the “Jeevan Dayavedi” people teach “God’s Will is fulfilled only if man atleast become vegetarian”? This resembles the gnostic doctrine which the Holy Apostles rejected.
So enjoy the Christmas feast with a clear conscience, having no guilty feeling about the foods, that according to St. Paul (in 1 Timothy 4:3) “… which God created to be received with thanksgiving by those who believe and who know the truth.”
HAPPY CHRISTMAS: THE JOYFUL MESSAGE OF CHRISTMAS WAS CONVEYED TO THE SHEPHERDS WHO WERE KEEPING WATCH OVER THEIR FLOCKS EVEN AT NIGHT.
