MGOCSM & OCYM unit of Bengaluru Dicoese is presenting ‘Zamar 2016,’ a Christmas symphony, on December 3, 2016 Saturday.
Veteran Malayalam cine actor Tini Tom will be the chief guest for the programme performed by the Bangalore Orthodox Youth Chorale and Zion Philharmonic Orchestra. 
St Gregorios Orthodox Cathedral, Hosur Road, will be hosting the musical extravaganza at Good Shepherd Auditorium, Museum Road, opposite St Joseph’s College.
HG Dr Abraham Mar Seraphim, Bangalore Dicoesan Metropolitan, will deliver the presidential address.
Fr Santhosh Samuel, MGOCSM & OCYM Vice President, Bengaluru Diocese, and Fr Koshy Thomas, Vicar, St Gregorios Orthodox Cathedral and MGOCSM Unit President will also be present. The highlight of the symphony will be the presence of the 15 member Philharmonic orchestra and over 80 chamber voices which will herald the birth of Lord Jesus Christ. ‘Zamar’, pronounced ‘Zaw-mar’ is Hebrew word which means to “worship god with instruments, in praise of God.
