The book titled A Churchman and a Theologian was released at Devalokam Aramana Chapel after Holy Qurbana on 12 July by HH Mor Baselios Mathews III Catholicose by handing over a copy to Dr Mathews Mar Thimothios. Dr Yakob Mar Irenaios Metropolitan briefly explained the contents of this book. The book narrates the life of Chorbishop Dr Kyriakos Thottupuram , giving specific thrust on his contributions to the growth and development of Malankara Orthodox Syrian Church in US ; further, his theological contributions are also highlighted. Orthodox fraternity all over the world has recognized the Theological brilliance of Dr Thottupuram. His concept of priesthood is an excellent lesson for Christian priests of all Churches. The book is written by George Joseph Enchakkattil from Manganam, Kottayam who is a member St George Orthodox Valiyapally, Palarivattom, Kochi. The book is understood to be a good resource for our Seminary students.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
