The nun whose body was found inside the well of a convent in Kollam district had drowned, the post-mortem report stated on Monday.<\/span><\/p>\n There were no other injury marks on the body of Sister Susamma, a resident of Mount Tabor Dayara at Pathanapuram, except the \u2018self-inflicted\u2019 injuries on the wrists, the police said, quoting the report.<\/span><\/p>\n The post-mortem examination of the nun, belonging to the Malankara Orthodox Syrian Church, was carried out at the government medical college hospital here.<\/span><\/p>\n A senior police officer said that based on the post-mortem report, it was assumed to be a case of suicide. \u201cThe post-mortem report also indicated the presence of naphthalene balls in her abdomen. Both the wrists were cut. There were no other injury marks on her body,\u201d he said.<\/span><\/p>\n The police would soon submit a report based on the post-mortem report, the officer added. The body of Sister Susamma, a teacher at St. Stephen\u2019s School attached to the convent, was found floating in the well at the compound on Sunday morning.<\/span><\/p>\nSuicide angle<\/span><\/h2>\n
