GREETINGS to you in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. Hope you all are having a blessed Lent season.
\nAs our Lord commanded \u201cBring the whole tithe into the storehouse, so that there may be food in My House\u201d (Malachi 3:10).
\nHere is an opportunity for all of us to share and care for our brethren during these Great Lenten days.<\/p>\n

A G Arjun is a cancer patient aged 21 years. His poor parents C A Govinda Raju and G Shanthi perform menial jobs on the outskirts of Bangalore for a living.<\/p>\n

Arjun who discontinued his studies has been diagonised with cancer and the disease is termed classical Hodgkin Lymphoma (Nodular Sclerosis) biopsy lymph node. He is presently undergoing treatment at the Kidwai Memorial Institute of Oncology, Bangalore, under Dr Govind Babu and Dr Smitha Saldanha.
\nMedicines prescribed for Chemotherapy include (Cytoblastin 10, Dacarex 200, lyphidox 50).\u00a0Arjun\u2019s mother Shanthi works as a maid looking after the aged and also has to support her two other children from her meagre income. As life is very tough for them, they have none to seek funds towards the treatment.
\nThis is a kind request to extend help in this hour of need.\u00a0Proof of letters from the doctor treating Arjun and from Fr Varghese Philip Idichandy, Vicar, St Gregorios Orthodox Church, Mathikere, has been initiated to extend help through the \u2018Thanal Charity Project\u2019 of Mar Gregorios Orthodox Maha Edavaka (MGOME), Muscat, under Vicar Fr Jacob Mathew.<\/p>\n
