\"OSSAE<\/a><\/p>\n

The 2nd\u00a0 Sunday School Sangamam and 3rd<\/sup> Diocesan Talent Competition of the UK, Europe and Africa Diocese will be held on Saturday, 26th<\/sup> September 2015 at Bristol.\u00a0 The event will be presided by the Diocesan Metropolitan H.G. Dr. Mathews Mar Thimothios, and H.G. Alexios Mar Eusebios, President of Orthodox Syrian Sunday School Association of the East \u2013 Outside India Region (OSSAE-OIR) and Diocesan Metropolitan of Southwest America will be the chief guest of the function.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The event will be conducted at Greenway Community Centre Auditorium hosted by St. Mary\u2019s Orthodox Church, Bristol.\u00a0 The Sunday School children who have attained first and second prizes at North, Central and South zones will be participating at Solo song, Group song and Elocution competitions which will be conducted in the morning.\u00a0 The unit level competitions and district level talent competitions were previously held in the months of February and June respectively, and Diocesan level competition will be the culmination of Talent Competitions of 2015.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

This will followed by Sunday School Sangamam in the afternoon which will be attended by all priests, Sunday School teachers, Sunday School children with their parents from 23 Churches and Congregations across United Kingdom.\u00a0 The event will be a historic gathering attended by around 600 people across the length and breadth of UK.\u00a0 During the public meeting of the Sunday School Sangamam , senior Sunday School teachers over the age of 60 who have served in the Diocese will be felicitated and honoured.\u00a0 Later, cultural programme will be performed by various Sunday School children followed by prize distribution for the 1st<\/sup>, 2nd<\/sup> and 3rd prize winners of the Talent Competition.\u00a0 \u00a0\u00a0The individual Church which achieves maximum points at the talent competition will be awarded with Mar Makarios Memorial Ever-rolling Trophy.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

A central committee of the Sunday School of UK region led by Rev. Fr. Varghese Mathew, Vice President of OSSAE-UK, Dr. Susil George Stephen, Director of OSSAE-UK, Mr Simon Chacko, Secretary of OSSAE-UK, Mr Baiju John, Treasurer of OSSAE-UK, Mrs Viji Syria, Talent Competition Co-ordinator of OSSAE-UK, Mr Sunil Koshy, North District Inspector, Mrs Omana Varghese, Central District Inspector, Mrs Shini Joseph, South District Inspector and a local committee under the leadership of Rev. Fr. Mathew Abraham, Vicar of St. Mary\u2019s Orthodox Church, Bristol, Mr Dilip Thomas, Head Teacher of St. Mary\u2019s Orthodox Church Bristol along with Managing Committee and various Church members of St. Mary\u2019s Indian Orthodox Church have done all the necessary arrangements for the success of the event. \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
